Vinod leads a team that attracts, nurtures and retains global talent to “right the wrong” of poverty and social injustice at Oxfam America. His team ensures that individuals are positioned for success and given the opportunity to develop, grow and access resources needed to transform the world into a more just and equitable place for all. He is passionate about scaling programs in developing countries.

At Oxfam, he helped launch Saving for Change, an innovative microfinance program which leverages the power of human and financial capital to enable more than half a million people in 5 countries save more than $13 million. Prior to joining Oxfam, Vinod worked in both the private and social sector with positions at Citibank, Catholic Relief Services and SEWA Bank. He taught microfinance at Brandeis University for a decade and has served as a mentor to startups from the Hult Prize, Our Generation Speaks, the MIT IDEAS Challenge, Annual Tufts $100k New Ventures Competition and the Heller Startup Challenge.
