Saki Zamxaka is a Corporate and Public Management Professional with over 12 years senior level executive management experience. He possesses high commercial acumen, having amassed knowledge and experience in different aspects of executive leadership including strategic planning, corporate governance, high level negotiations, stakeholder management and ability to build and sustain relationships. He has represented Government in key international forums and Trade and Investment Promotion missions. He has also featured several times on CNBC Africa, SANC platforms, PowerFM (SA radio) and contributes articles to media publications on the economy, and has a proven track record as a results-oriented leader and team builder with excellent interpersonal skills. 

 Saki Zamxaka holds an Honors degree in Economics from the University of the Western Cape; and a Diploma, Program in International Education at Bard College, New York.

He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency. Previously a CEO of PRASA Technical, a division of PRASA (Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa). Prior to that he was Chief Executive Officer Autopax (trading as Translux and City to City), a long distance bus company for three years – including the period of acquiring 570 buses for the FIFA 2010 World cup; General Manager Operations at the Land Bank and was Acting CEO for five months. Prior to that, he worked in various roles in government including Economic Adviser to the Minister of Agriculture.

He is also Director of ZARX - a stock exchange in South Africa, second after JSE to get a license, a Director of Mithasa Consulting - a venture/angel investor firm.
